Sometimes I don't bother to watch videos on blog posts (shhh! I'm lazy). But this time I did. It moved me, and I want to share it with as many people as possible. No matter what political or religious stance you take, regardless of your personal opinion of Keith Olberman, please listen to his message. Because we need to hear what the entire nation seems to be missing - it's a matter of love. I am aware I sound like a big ole hippie right there, but what else is marriage about? Why else would someone want to be married? Not to make a political statement. Not "just because they can", and certainly not to make you uncomfortable. People want to marry because they love.
So you don't have to agree, you don't have to declare a recount on Prop 8, I just want you to listen.
The way I see it, Prop 8 was a way for extreme right wing conservatives to force their beliefs and religion on others. That truly frightens me.
